Accommodation Guidance – Version 6.1
The Accommodation Guidance has been updated and Version 6.1 is now available.
We have made a small clarification following a review of the requirements relating to fire detection.
In Version 6.1, the wording regarding heat detectors in caravans has been changed from “must” to “should”, with Appendix 10 also amended to confirm this as best practice.
This change is intended to make clear the distinction between a specific legal requirement and recommended good practice.
