FPC TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION GUIDANCE 6th Edition 2026

FPC TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION GUIDANCE 6th Edition 2026

The Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) first published the FPC Guidance on the Provision of Caravan Accommodation for Temporary Workers in the UK in 2017, recognising the need for clear and practical advice for businesses providing accommodation to workers. Now in its sixth edition, the guidance has been updated following a comprehensive review by the Accommodation Review Group and subsequent consultation with a wider stakeholder group.

This guidance, funded by FPC members, is intended to cover England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and is available free of charge for current FPC Members for the purpose of their business activities in connection with the supply of fresh produce.

In addition, where a named UK retailer and their named 1st tier supplier for a specific fresh produce category are considered to be confirmed and fully paid FPC members the Guidance may be distributed to specific growers with accommodation in their supply chain.

If either the Retailer OR Tier 1 are NOT members of the FPC, the Guidance may NOT be distributed to specific growers with accommodation in their supply chain.

If any FPC membership holder is unclear as to whether further use or distribution of this publication is permitted under these terms, please contact FPC to request clarification prior to said distribution or use.

Alternatively, the Guidance can be purchased as a standalone document by non-members for £500 +VAT by contacting infor@freshproduce.org.uk or calling 01733 237 117
