Jim Rogers
FPC VICE PRESIDENT / FESA UK MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jim Rogers has enjoyed a long and illustrious career in the fresh produce sector, commencing with the Van Dijk Holland Group in 1970, the largest exporting company of Dutch Salad products and becoming Managing Director of one of its subsidiaries in 1980.
In 1985 Jim formed Fesa UK Ltd with Spanish partners and has served as Managing Director for over 25 years becoming Vice-Chairman in 2011. Fesa is based in Lincolnshire - it is a highly successful distribution company supplying UK supermarkets, the food service sector, processors and wholesale markets with fresh produce.
He is also a member of the London Fruiterers' Livery and gained Freedom of the City of London in 2010.
Jim has valued and supported the FPC for many years and was the President from 2008 to July 2017. He remains an FPC non-exec director and is Vice President for a 6 month period during the handover transition to new President Alan Forrester.
