Scottish businesses are being offered new support to strengthen trade links with the European Union through a series of EU Export Masterclasses announced by the UK Government.
The two‑day events, hosted by the Scotland Office in partnership with local Chambers of Commerce, will take place in Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh and Inverness. They are aimed primarily at small and medium‑sized enterprises looking to begin exporting to the EU or re‑establish their European presence.
The masterclasses will provide practical guidance on customs procedures, regulations, product standards and market intelligence, alongside sessions focused on accessing export finance. Delivery partners include the Department for Business and Trade, Scottish Enterprise, UK Business Centre Lille and British Chambers of Commerce from the Netherlands.
The initiative is designed to help Scottish firms take advantage of the UK’s 2025 EU trade agreement, which has reduced red tape and streamlined the movement of food, drink, and animal and plant products.
To provide targeted and tailored advice, each city will also focus on two key sectors which are particularly pertinent. Details are below alongside dates and links where businesses can register to attend.
