FPC is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Floyd as its new Head of Technical & Regulatory Affairs Manager, joining the consortium on 6th July, 2026.
Caroline brings with her more than two decades of senior technical and supply chain experience across the fresh produce industry, with an outstanding track record spanning food safety, supplier management, sustainability, auditing, retailer engagement and technical leadership.
Most recently, Caroline held the role of Central Technical Manager – Produce at Bakkavor, where she was responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of produce raw materials across the Group, while also leading supplier governance, auditing programmes and food safety initiatives. She also played a key role in developing industry best practice and strengthening collaboration with major retailers including M&S and Tesco.
Prior to Bakkavor, Caroline spent more than nine years with Total Worldfresh, working extensively across major retail accounts and helping to drive commercially successful innovation, sustainability and technical compliance programmes.
Highly respected across the industry, Caroline combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills, extensive supply chain knowledge and a genuine passion for food sustainability and industry collaboration.
Her appointment represents another important step forward for FPC as the organisation continues to strengthen its support for members across the fresh produce and floriculture supply chain.
Everyone at FPC is looking forward to welcoming Caroline to the team in July and working closely with her as she helps further develop and strengthen FPC’s technical and regulatory support for members across the industry.
Caroline will join the team a few weeks before Kelly steps down from her role. This provides an opportunity for an extensive handover period promoting ongoing continuity. In addition, we envisage Kelly will continue to work with FPC as an independent consultant on several projects in the coming months.
