The UK spends hundreds of millions on agricultural R&D each year. Where does this money go? How closely does it fit with what government, farmers, food businesses, scientists and public interest groups say are the priorities?
Grounded Research are working with an organisation called Ag Impact, supported by the Innovation & Research Caucus, University of Reading and Agricultural Universities Council UK on this project. SARI (State of Agricultural Research & Innovation) will provide the most comprehensive analysis to date, comparing current research investment with people’s views on what should be prioritised.
