Following extensive lobbying from FPC and industry, HMRC have now recognised the significance of including imported reusable plastic crates as a taxable item. As a result, imported reusable crates are now EXEMPT (regardless of recycled content) from PPT liability.
The FPC Guidance has now been updated to reflect this.
