SWS - Seasonal Operators Confirmed for 2023

FPC have recently contributed to two roundtable events held with a wide range of stakeholders to discuss the issues surrounding the current SWS design. Feedback is now being provided to both the Home Office and DEFRA to raise awareness of visa timing & transparency of the scheme. It was felt that the current scheme design and management of it requires a collaborative review to ensure that good quality staff can be employed by farms in the right number, at the right time, with minimal risk of exploitation in good working and living conditions.

The outcome of the roundtables and resulting workstreams will be communicated as they become clear.
