Re-issuing and re-forwarding phytosanitary certificates - Change to process

19 Jul 2024

There has been a recent change to the way you can now apply for a re-issue of a phytosanitary or re-forwarding phytosanitary certificate. You will no longer need to email your inspector or APHA, you can now request this yourself via PHES.

Please follow these simple 5 steps:

  1. Log into PHES,
  2. locate the relevant application (this should have the status of 'Certificate issued'),
  3. click the application reference to open and then
  4. click the hyperlink 'Apply for re-issue'.
  5. Follow the onscreen guidance which will tell you the reasons you can apply for a re-issue, and what you need to complete.

Full instructions are available here on the Plant Health Portal.
