Preventing food crime webinar: reducing risk across the sector - 24th Feb 13.00pm

The Scottish Food Crime and Incidents Unit at Food Standards Scotland invite you to join their ‘preventing food crime webinar’ where they will be exploring ways that food businesses can help prevent food crime.

This will include looking at an online Risk Profiling Tool which helps food businesses to identify and address their vulnerabilities to food crime. They are also excited to announce that they will be joined by three guest speakers who are all experts in their field and will bring examples of food crime risks in todays world and the importance of prevention.

The guest speakers are:

  • Chris Elliott, Professor of food safety and microbiology at Queens University
  • Selvarani Elahi, Executive Director of the Food Authenticity Network
  • David Thomson CEO of the Food and Drink Federation Scotland
