Gelponics - Demonstration trials of a novel substrate for hydroponics

Dear colleagues,

You are now cordially invited to our demonstration trials on Tuesday 23 May 2023 morning at Stockbridge Technology Centre (STC),near Selby. Be amongst the first to hear more and see the performance of our Gelponics innovative hydrogel-based substrate.

As our Gelponics project is nearing completion, come and join CHAP and AEH Innovative Hydrogel, to find out more about our Gelponics project. We will be presenting the outcomes of the project to date and AEH Innovative hydrogel novel easy-to-use dry form growing media product and demonstrating its performance in hydroponic settings in our CHAP Vertical Farming Development Centre (VFDC) at STC.

The agenda for the day is as follow:

10.00	Arrival at STC; Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided
10.20	Welcome and short presentations of the project, trials and outputs
11.20	Tour of Gelponics trials in CHAP VFDC - including demonstration of setting up the novel gel substrate
12.30	Light lunch and refreshment
13.30	Event end
