Fruit & Vegetable Marketing Scheme Derogation Extended

Fruit & Vegetable Marketing Scheme Derogation Extended

17 Sept 2024

The Fruit & Vegetable Marketing Standards derogation has been extended.

The derogation on the requirement for marketing standards Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) for fresh fruit and vegetables entering GB from the EU will be extended from 1 February 2025 to 1 February 2027. This means there will be no change to the current situation. Imports from the EU will continue under current arrangements. Imports from other countries and customs territories are unaffected by this change and will continue to require CoCs as they do now, under the current system.
