FreshFel EU issue statement on EU/US trade deal

Freshfel Europe have issued a strongly worded statement expressing their concern following the trade deal reached in July. They give an analysis for the fruit and vegetables sector of the European Commission proposed tariff reductions as a result of the trade deal between the EU and USA.
The European Commission now submitted a draft regulation to the European Parliament and Council to adjust customs duties on the import of goods originating in the USA.
