FPC is strengthening its member support and future growth ambitions with two senior appointments focused on innovation, commercial development, technical expertise and regulatory affairs. The new roles will support FPC’s continued work to represent and champion businesses across the fresh produce and floriculture supply chain. Oskar Szymanskih has been appointed as Head of Innovation and Commercial Growth. He will formally join FPC on 1 September 2026 and will support the organisation’s strategic focus on innovation, industry collaboration, membership growth and commercial development across the fresh produce and floriculture supply chain. Oskar brings more than 13 years’ experience across the fresh produce, agritech and food sectors, with expertise in technical leadership, operational improvement, compliance, project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, he has held senior technical leadership roles with Dyson Farming. The appointment follows the arrival of Caroline Floyd, who joins FPC as Head of Technical & Regulatory Affairs on 6 July. Caroline brings more than two decades of senior technical and supply chain experience across the fresh produce industry, including food safety, supplier management, sustainability, auditing, retailer engagement and technical leadership. Her appointment further strengthens FPC’s technical and regulatory support for members across the fresh produce and floriculture supply chain. Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of FPC, said: “FPC has always been committed to supporting and representing the fresh produce and floriculture industry. As the sector continues to evolve, innovation, technology and new commercial partnerships will play an increasingly important role in helping businesses remain competitive, resilient and sustainable. “We are delighted to welcome Oskar and Caroline to the team and look forward to the contribution they will make in helping shape the next chapter of FPC’s growth.” Commenting on his appointment, Oskar Szymanski said: “I am excited to be joining FPC at such an important time for the industry. Fresh produce businesses are facing significant challenges but also unprecedented opportunities through innovation, technology and collaboration. “I look forward to working with members and industry partners to help strengthen connections across the sector, support agritech adoption and contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the fresh produce and floriculture supply chain.” |
