FPC Interpretation Guide to Medium Risk A & B EU Fresh Produce Categories

The UK Government have now released all information relating to the finalised SPS controls of Medium Risk Fruit & Vegetables being imported into the UK from the EU.
The EU Medium Risk Risk A & B and Low Risk categories are now published on the Plant Health Portal - https://planthealthportal.defr... - and the FPC have provided an interpretation guide for FPC Members which seeks to help understand the guidance and the timescales which accompany the change in controls.
Please contact FPC if you wish to discuss the implications of the finalised list and we would be happy to support you. This topic will be fully discussed at the next FPC Technical Meeting on 12th November 2024 and FPC are also planning specific briefing sessions in the coming weeks.
