Defra Plant Health Fee Increase Consultation - Due 21 March 2025

Defra England and Wales have launched a consultation relating to Plant Health fees. The intention is that fees will be amended to provide full cost recovery (as they have been frozen since 2019). The proposed amendments will also update physical and ID inspection fees for Rest of World goods.

FPC will be arranging a meeting with Defra in Early March 2025 to discuss the implications of any proposed changes. CHECK YOUR INBOXES FOR FURTHER UPDATES ON DATE AND VENUE.

There will also be changes to Fruit Propagation Certification Scheme fees to account for new work in this area.
