Defra Decision - NO PLANT HEALTH FEE INCREASE

Following the targeted consultation on proposed changes to plant health fees, which took place 27 Jan – 21 March 2025, Defra have provided an update. They received 18 responses to the consultation.

Having considered the responses to the consultation, and the announcement of the planned UK-EU SPS Agreement, a decision has been taken not to proceed with the proposed increases to fees. This position will be reviewed following implementation of the planned UK-EU SPS Agreement.
