Stronger Together 10 years: Towards a future free from exploitation

Wednesday 17th May, 9-5pm

Heart of England Conference Centre, Coventry

2023 is an exciting and significant year for Stronger Together. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary of working with businesses in the food, garment, construction and other sectors in the UK and in multiple countries globally on responsible recruitment, fair work and tackling labour exploitation. To mark this occasion, we are hosting an in-person one day conference:

Members of the Fresh Produce Consortium are very welcome and encouraged to attend, and can benefit from a day of excellent panel sessions, workshops and key note speakers, covering issues relevant to your organisations and operations including:

  • Emerging risks to fair work and human rights
  • Survivor and worker voice/perspectives
  • Effective due diligence in lower supply chain tiers and outsourced services
  • Impacts of climate change on health and well-being in the workplace
  • Purchasing practices and working conditions

The full agenda can be found here: Agenda Towards a future free from exploitation

The event will also include the first screening of Stronger Together’s short awareness raising film focused on warehousing and outsourced services, a growing area of interest for businesses in all sectors.

The event audience will be up to 400 attendees, largely from the private sector (including consumer goods, agricultural, construction, garments, recruitment and others), from various points in the supply chain, and from a variety of departments and roles, e.g. HR, procurement, operations, sustainability, senior leadership. So plenty of opportunity to speak to peers too.

It would be great to see FPC members there, and encourage anyone attending to also use the opportunity to talk to Stronger Together about our resources and support we can offer. Find out more about the event, and how to book here.
