Foresighting the Future Packhouse

June

2022

The FPC and the University of Lincoln invite you to contribute to a major new study that will shape future training for your industry.

The Gatsby Charitable Foundation is funding a pilot project focusing on labour and automation in the fresh produce packhouse, which is a pathfinder for the wider agri-food industry.

The University of Lincoln is convening two online workshops to take input from industry. These interactive workshops will further develop the understanding of skills and capability gaps in the packhouse and help develop the recommendations to stakeholders on how to close these gaps.

We would appreciate your contribution to both events as the content of the 10th June workshop follows on from the 1st of June.

About the workshops

These online events will be hosted by the Lincoln Institute for Agri-food Technology and facilitated by the High Value Manufacturing Catapult. This is your opportunity to contribute directly to research that will provide insights and recommendations for future training and development for the fresh produce packing industry.
