BioClocks UK is bringing together researchers and industry professionals in a free problem-solving workshop to identify how chronobiology may help tackle challenges in the vertical farming and controlled environment agriculture industries. Industry professionals are invited to submit the questions and challenges they would like to raise with researchers ahead of the event. Sponsored by Developing Business Aware Academics (DBAA), the day begins with a networking workshop for early career researchers, followed by short talks from both industry and academia to contextualise the issue, before a problem-solving collaborative session. The day will end with a funder session, dedicated to enabling new collaborations to develop. Please get in touch with lorena.rosen@leicester.ac.uk for further details, such as details on how they might be able to cover travel expenses. To register interest or submit an industry challenge, please do so via their signup/question submission form before the 2nd of September.
The event will take place from 10am-3.30pm on the 16th of September at the John Innes Conference Centre, Norwich, NR4 7UG.
