ALP Seasonal Worker Roadshows

Your invitation to the Grower Seasonal Workers’ 2023 Roadshow

This is an invitation for all UK growers that employ seasonal agricultural workers, both through the Seasonal Workers’ Scheme and via other recruitment routes, to attend the 2023 Grower Seasonal Workers’ Roadshow please share with any farms in your supply chain – all are welcome.

The ALP (Association of Labour Providers) and Stronger Together, with FNET (Food Network for Ethical Trade), FPC (Fresh Produce Consortium) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) are collaborating to deliver these Roadshows. They are supermarket funded and are free to attend.

The Roadshows support the UK Grower Seasonal Workers’ Toolkit & Checklist and will:

1. Provide an update on the Seasonal Workers’ Scheme and share good practice for the coming season
2. Support growers to achieve the best outcomes when recruiting and employing seasonal workers
3. Share grower feedback on their experiences and challenges in employing seasonal workers
4. Seek to reduce risks and enhance the recruitment and on farm experience of seasonal workers
