Reminder - Plant Health Inspection Frequency Changes from 22nd July 22

FPC is reminding its members of the forthcoming changes to Inspection Rates for Plant Health Inspections that will come into force on July 22nd.

• The majority of fruits and vegetables (excluding leafy veg) - EU 3% and ROW 5%
• Herbs, spices and leafy veg (excluding ROW Ocimum 'basil') - EU 3% and ROW 5%
• Cut flowers - between 3-50% depending on genus / origin
• Potatoes - between 3-100%

In many cases, inspection frequencies are reduced and therefore should help to ease delays.
