Any audits undertaken under the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety must comply with Issue 8 of the Standard. FPC was part of the Working Group to develop the latest edition of the Standard which aims to encourage further development of a food safety culture and expands the requirements for environmental monitoring.
FPC and BRC have worked together to publish further practical advice specific to the needs of the fresh produce industry and its auditors in the latest edition of the Fresh Produce Guideline. Both publications are available from www.brcglobalstandards.com
