Take part in a Defra Survey for new border regime for SPS

13 Nov 2023

From 31 January 2024, a new regime of border controls for imports of Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) goods to Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) will be in place. Depending on the type of goods these controls may involve new processes, paperwork, routes for goods and border checks.

A survey has been developed by the UK Government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). We would like to know more about what action organisations who import and export SPS goods to GB are taking to get ready for the new controls. Your responses will help determine if we need to do more to ensure you are informed and on track to be ready by 31 January 2024.
