Between 1 to 3 January 2022, if you have urgent import consignment (animal products only) in transit from the EU and require urgent help, please call

Please note: non-urgent enquiries will not be dealt with by APHA between 1 and 3 January 2022.

On working days you can continue to send enquiries to imports@apha.gov.uk – on bank holidays this mailbox will be monitored limited hours.

If you have general enquiries about importing animal products from the EU there is policy, technical and operational requirements information available on the microsite . If your query cannot be answered by these resources then please email traders@defra.gov.uk and these will be answered as soon as possible.

If you are a business based in the EU and have questions, please send your enquiry to eutraderenquiries@defra.gov.uk and this will be answered as soon as possible.
