DOWN TIME - EDCS / NEW AND NES XML services

HMRC need to carry out urgent maintenance on the Electronic Data Capture Service (EDCS) between 1300-1700 on Sunday 12 February. As a result, the National Export System (NES) email and NES XML services will be unavailable.

This will mean that users of these services will be unable to access NES or receive clearance on declarations during this period and are advised to bring forward or delay their movements. Submitted declarations will queue within CHIEF and process when the planned outage period ends.

They apologise for any inconvenience this short-notice downtime may cause.
