CHAP -Electric Nitrogen project survey

CHAP and Agri-EPI (two of the Agri-Tech Centres) and Debye Ltd are currently working on an exciting project, that could be of interest to the Fresh Produce sector and FPC members.
They are exploring a novel approach to allow growers to produce their own environmentally friendly ‘zero carbon’ liquid nitrogen fertiliser on-site, offering a novel solution to reaching net zero emissions and reducing their costs.
They are conducting a stakeholder survey to better understand nitrogen fertigation use within the UK Controlled Environment Horticulture sector and to gather growers’ thoughts on our on-site production concept. The survey should take 5 minutes to complete.
CHAP have asked FPC to circulate this survey amongst our members as they would greatly value your input.

Responses to be submitted by the 12th March 2024.
For information, answers will be anonymised, and key findings will be reported back to the sector as part of the knowledge exchange element of this project.
