BAC (benzalkonium chloride) and Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC)

At the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF) held on 17-18 February 2020, the Commission proposed lowering the temporary MRLs for BAC (benzalkonium chloride) and Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC) to reflect monitoring data submitted by EFSA, Member States’ competent authorities and food business operators covering 2014 to 2019.
