Ralph Livesey Expands Chefserve Solution with Vanlogik Delivery Management Mobile App
Wednesday, 07th July 2021, Sittingbourne, UK:
Affinitus, the market leading provider of business management software solutions for the fresh produce, food, and horticulture industries, today announces that existing client, Ralph Livesey, has expanded its use of the Chefserve foodservice business management solution with the deployment of the new Vanlogik delivery route management mobile application, also from Affinitus.
Ralph Livesey Ltd is one of Lancashire’s leading fresh produce suppliers delivering daily to local public and healthcare authorities, educational establishments, hotels, restaurants, public houses, retail and catering.
Already using the Chefserve Foodservice Business Management solution from Affinitus, Ralph Livesey will expand the solution with the deployment of the Vanlogik android mobile application to manage delivery routes, drivers, and vehicles. The Vanlogik mobile app is seamlessly integrated with the Chefserve business management solution so that data flows in real time bi-directionally between the phone app and the ERP solution. Customer order, route and delivery data is shared to the driver via the app and delivery progress, ETAs, Proof of Delivery signatures, photographs and order comments collected electronically via the app by the driver are immediately available to the administration team in the office. In addition, the driver can also record pre-departure vehicle check information via the app and use the integrated Google Maps functionality to navigate to the next delivery location and calculate an estimated time of arrival.
Andrew Christian, Managing Director at Ralph Livesey, said “We have run our business for many years on the Chefserve software solution, and we are always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to work. The Vanlogik app will allow us to extend the benefits of our ERP data beyond the office out on the road with our delivery drivers, and ultimately to our customers by providing an efficient, transparent, and paperless delivery experience.”
Commenting on the new Vanlogik app, Paul Hardy, CEO and Founder of Affinitus said, “We previewed the new Vanlogik mobile app to all our Chefserve customers earlier this year, and it received great feedback. We continually strive to include the latest technologies into our solutions, helping our customers’ operations to be as efficient as possible, and maximising their technology investments. The Vanlogik app provides a further business management tool, via a familiar user interface, which is simple to use, but very effective at providing business insights into customer deliveries once they have left the depot.“
The Vanlogik mobile app from Affinitus can be integrated with any modern ERP solution.
