Scheduled downtime affecting import clearances

29 May 2018

Due to essential maintenance work covering various Defra applications, ALVS will not be available between 0700-1430hrs on Saturday 2 June. The link between PEACH and eDOMERO (the APHA application) will also be unavailable.

The PEACH system is expected to be unaffected, but due to the ALVS downtime manual fallback will be invoked and NCH has been authorised to clear APHA- and HMI-regulated imports on production of a valid QRC and/or Certificate of Conformity.

Reversion to clearances via ALVS will take place once checks by APHA and HMI indicate that all applications are running as usual, and a further update will be issued at that time. Importers and their agents are advised to make applications either side of the downtime wherever possible.
