FreshAwards Young Person of the Year

12 June 2018

Congratulations go to Freddie Heathcote  of Arnott & Mason, FreshAwards 2018 Young Person of the Year, sponsored by Pooling Partners.

Freddie has generated a new customer base using furniture shops and lifestyle stores to promote tropical plants, thanks to his fresh approach and understanding of new technology and social media.

From helping a developer in Dubai source palm trees in Florida, sourcing plants for the Cannes Film Festival and supplying Harrods via a LinkedIn contact Freddie demonstrates his special combination of trading finesse and horticultural knowledge.

Freddie has worked on the development of the company’s web shop, identifying opportunities to increase internet presence and expand from business to business trade into offers for domestic customers.

Congratulations to Freddie for giving the wow factor with plants for stores, offices and individuals. His lateral thinking and grit to succeed is inspirational,” commented Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium.

The Fresh Award was presented by Phil Storer, Managing Director of Pooling Partners in front of an audience of around 500 people at the gala evening, hosted by Shane Richie at The Pavilion at the Tower of London on Tuesday 6 June 2017.
