FreshAwards 2018 Best Place To Work

28 June 2018

Congratulations to Blue Skies winner of the FreshAwards 2018  Best Place to Work, sponsored by Freeths.

Blue Skies’ commitment to its people is an integral part of its culture. Its seamless society encourages respect for one another, regardless of gender, age, colour, creed or rank. The company has an exceptionally low turnover of staff and has a strong reputation for the happiest people in the industry in every country it operates within.

The culture is driven by its founder Anthony Pile, building on his experience in the British armed forces and from working his way up the ladder within the food industry. Anthony’s vision forms the basis of the Blue Skies culture which generates self-belief and confidence in all its people.

“Blue Skies sets the standard for others with its strong culture of respect for others and confident belief in their capabilities,” commented Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium.

The Fresh Award was presented by Mukesh Patel, Solicitor & Managing Partner of Freeths in front of an audience of around 500 people at the gala evening, hosted by Shane Richie at The Pavilion at the Tower of London on Tuesday 6 June 2017.
