EU plant health interceptions

The European Commission has published the latest data of plant health interceptions of commodities imported to the EU and Switzerland with harmful organisms.  The EUROPHYT report for June can be found here.

There were further interceptions of False Codling Moth in June:

  • Three interceptions on roses from Kenya
  • Two interceptions on oranges from South Africa
  • One interception on peppers from Uganda.

The Commission has also updated its alert list which details the numbers and types of interceptions by the country of export over the period 1 June 2017 to 31 May 2018.  You can find more details here.
