UK pesticide residues monitoring programme

The Pesticide Residues in Food Expert Committee has published the 2018 National Monitoring Programme.  This lists all commodities which will be sampled during the year, including monitoring required by the European Commission.

With regard to fresh produce, the following products are including in the programme:

  • Apples
  • Aubergine
  • Banana
  • Beans with pods
  • Berries/small fruit
  • Broccoli
  • Chinese cabbage
  • Curry leaves/vine leaves
  • Ginger
  • Grapefruit
  • Grapes
  • Lettuce
  • Melon
  • Mushroom/cultivated fungi
  • Mushroom (speciality)
  • Okra
  • Pears
  • Peas
  • Pepper
  • Pineapple
  • Potato
  • Soft citrus
  • Speciality vegetables
