Albert Bartlett partners Sport Relief 2018

28 February 2018

Albert Bartlett has signed up to be an official partner of Sport Relief 2018 (an initiative of Comic Relief).

Sport Relief brings the nation together to get active, raise money and change lives, and it is back from 17th to 23rd March.

Albert Bartlett is coaching the nation to do more to help themselves and others this Sport Relief. The company will be donating five pence for every promotional bag of Rooster potatoes sold, and what’s more, it is offering eight family activity breaks to be won – one every week from early February.  The promotion is now live and can be seen here:

Shoppers can enter a prize draw and get the family active on one of the amazing breaks. The prizes include surfing in Cornwall, tennis coaching in Suffolk, white water rafting in Perthshire and canoeing in the Lake District and more.

Albert Bartlett will create a number of  sporting initiatives and campaigns to encourage its consumers and staff to get involved this Sport Relief – from downloading the Sport Relief App and counting steps every day during the week of Sport Relief, getting staff fully involved with sports activities, amplifying social media campaigns and offering exciting Money Can’t Buy competition to its shoppers.

Albert Bartlett head of marketing Michael Jarvis says, “We are delighted to be partnering with Sport Relief and helping its work both to improve the lives of people in the UK and internationally and in getting the nation off the couch. Albert Bartlett potatoes are a healthy source of slow energy release, ideal for helping you to step up for Sport Relief, so the brand fit is excellent.”

This Sport Relief, for the first time ever, every corner of the UK will be home to a challenge as the whole nation comes together to beat one billion steps a day, every day, from 17th to 23rd March. A host of famous faces will lead the charge and take on their own epic challenges to raise money and inspire the public to make their steps count as part of Team Sport Relief. To help the nation keep track of their hard earned steps and ensure they count towards the national total, the brand new Sport Relief App will be available to download for free.

Further announcements to come of Albert Bartlett activities.
