Pesticide residues in food – UK monitoring programme

he Pesticide Residues in Food Expert Committee (PRiF) has published its second quarterly report for 2018. 

The monitoring programme took 823 samples of 30 different foods, including fresh produce: apples, aubergine, banana, beans with pods, berries, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, curry leaves, grapefruit, grapes, lettuce, melon, speciality mushrooms, okra, pears, peas without pods, peppers, pineapple, potatoes, soft citrus, and speciality vegetables.
