Join FPC at the London Produce Show

30 May 2017

If you’re coming to the London Produce Show next week remember you can visit FPC on our stand at the Exhibition on Thursday 8 June.

We are also hosting a seminar in the afternoon of Wednesday 7 June which is geared to help exporters to the UK understand how to access the UK market – now and after Brexit.

Meeting regulatory requirements

Exporters need to know what regulatory requirements and customer standards need to be met to access the UK market, and to know when any additional control measures are coming into place:

  • Richard McIntosh of Defra
  • Gary Welsh of the Food Standards Agency.

As well as providing advice on getting products to the UK market, this seminar is looking at the potential impacts and opportunities for future trading post-Brexit, with some useful insights from key researchers and industry speakers:

Meeting the challenges of logistics

  • Lambert van Horen of Rabo Research Food and Agribusiness
  • Barbara Buczek of Port of Dover

Global commercial opportunities for Brexit and beyond

  • Tim Heddema - Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
  • Hein Deprez - Greenyard
  • Laurence Jones - Jamaica High Commission.

You can see the full programme here.

FPC members can join the seminar free of charge – contact sian@freshproduce.org.uk to register for the FPC seminar.

If any of your suppliers are attending the London Produce Show tell them about the seminar on Wednesday 7 June and they can register to attend at the London Produce Show link.

The seminar is part of the London Produce Show held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, 86-89 Park Lane, London W1K 7TN.
