Albert Bartlett - Marketing Campaign of the Year

Albert Bartlett is the winner of the Fresh Awards Marketing Campaign of the Year, sponsored by Morgan Cargo.

Albert Bartlett achieved big results with a modest budget by leveraging the popularity of its brand ambassador, Michael Roux Junior, with money can’t buy prizes. This high impact campaign provided an inspiring offer of a unique dining experience, reinvigorating consumers’ interest in potatoes and highlighting premium tier products used by top chefs and UK households alike.

Innovative pack designs combined with a press partnership, social media and web developments led to increased sales and a record number of competition entries for the Albert Bartlett brand.

 “Congratulations to Albert Bartlett for delivering a high impact promotion with a small budget,” said Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium.

The Fresh Award Marketing Campaign of the Year was presented by Herman Bosman of Morgan Cargo, in front of an audience of 500 people at the gala evening, hosted by British comedian, actor and broadcaster Hugh Dennis at the Intercontinental Park Lane on Thursday 8 June 2017.
