FPC publishes latest Guide to Exporting

9 February 2017

The FPC Guide to Exporting Fresh Produce will assist those involved in exporting fresh produce – fruit, vegetables and cut flowers – from the UK to third countries (outside the European Union).  The guide is available free to members from the FPC website at /services/fpc-publications/

Individual countries have their own plant health requirements for imports of fresh produce to prevent the introduction of pests, weeds and diseases identified as harmful. Most third countries require imports of fresh produce to carry a plant health certificate issued by the plant health authority in the exporting country.

This 2017 revised edition includes advice on checking requirements with your local APHA Plant Health Office and other useful contacts.
