FPC Code of Practice for the Control of Pesticides

FPC has published the 10th Edition of the FPC Code of Practice for the Control of Pesticides which promotes the responsible use of pesticides, in particular by Produce Marketing Organisations.

The revision of the guide is overseen by FPC’s Technical Group, with expert input from the Chemicals Regulation Division.

The code has been adopted widely throughout the fresh produce industry and gives guidance on due diligence, developing systems and procedures to minimise the risk of products with pesticide residues exceeding maximum residue levels getting into the supply chain.

The Guide is available free to all FPC members and can downloaded from the ‘services – publications’ section on the FPC website.
