UK Government releases list of key workers

UK Government releases list of key workers

20 Mar 2020

FPC has welcomed the UK Government’s recognition of the vital role of the food supply chain in the list of key workers. The children of these workers can be supported at school while they continue to work to give UK consumers a continued supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. This is the result of concerted efforts by FPC (see our letter here).

You can find the information by clicking HERE – scroll down to find the relevant sections as well as guidance for employees.

This includes those involved in food production, processing, distribution, sale and delivery as well as those essential to the provision of other key goods (for example hygienic and veterinary medicines).
