February

28

2019

Kingsgate Conference Centre

FPC hosted the FPC Brexit Briefing to help members prepare their businesses.

Speakers from Government departments and agencies covered

  • Customs registration, declarations and clearing consignments
  • Plant health pre-notification and inspection for imports and exports
  • How to manage your organic certification
  • Meeting pesticide and biocide regulations and managing Maximum Residue Levels.

We looked at what could happen in the event of there being a deal with the EU or not by 30 March 2019 and gave the latest information on the UK’s negotiations for future trading both with the EU and our many global trading partners, including the position on tariffs and quotas.

We’ll also covered the EU Settlement Scheme for your EU workers and how you can support them, as well managing temporary labour requirements.
